This is a review of the Timemore Black Mirror Plus Scales, a 2021-2022 overview version of the scales. The box has a matte, recycled cardboard finish and some awesome design artwork on the front. Inside the box, there is a foam insert, a black heat pad, a warning sign, an instruction manual, and the scale itself.
The first difference between this and the previous Black Mirror scales is that the two buttons on the front are raised, so you won't have any trouble with the orientation as to where and how to turn on the scales. The second improvement is that there is a little on/off toggle switch. When the toggle switch is on, it refers to a 'stand by' mode. When the toggle switch is off, it prevents the scales from accidentally turning on.
The scales are accurate to the 0.01 of a gram, which is incredibly sensitive and perfect for weighing coffee beans or other small items. It also has a timer, auto-timing mode, battery level indicator, and sound on/off button. The circular pattern on the scales compliments the server and looks really nice.
