Home Sweet Home

Hello friends, I've been home for a while now, I traveled here on Tuesday 29th May which is 1week and 4days ago. But due to poor network and little power supply, I've not been online to gist you about my activities, my hometown, the various sites that catch my interests and the different new things I'm learning. In fact, I'll try as much as possible to bring you along on my stay here since I'll be staying for a while.
I'm a native of Uzuakoli a semi-urban village in Bende LGA of Abia State Nigeria. It has a large population of both indigenes and settlers. The dominant occupation is farming and trading and their major farm produce include rice, yam, cassava and cocoa besides others.

They have very rich cultural heritage(which i'll tell you more about later), but the sculpted elephant in the pic above which was built and donated by the Udoma age grade of Eluoma Uzuakoli is seen as a general symbol for the town.
