MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. aloud: Spoken aloud, his idea all thought was completely ridiculous; in his head it sounded genius.
  2. akin: Those glowering eyes pierced him through the heart. Seeing the hate in his mother's eyes, it was akin to destroying him.
  3. away: In a place long long ago, far far away our story begins.
  4. aground: Above the crash site, a pair of parachutes slowly glided gently carrying two figures aground.
