An American teenager has sold her virginity online for the equivalent of nearly $3 million. The 19-year-old, identified only as Giselle, used a German-based website called Cinderella Escorts to auction off her virginity. A millionaire businessman from Abu Dhabi was the winner with a bid of 2.5 million Euros. Giselle called it “a dream come true.” She plans to use the money to pay off her tuition fees and go travelling. She also posted a video of herself on Cinderella. In a video she said, “I think I should be able to do what I want with my body, because it’s my choice, and I feel comfortable with my decision.”
A spokesperson for the site told news source, the high bidding shows there is a high demand for virgins. Sexologist Shan Boodram, however, told Vice News, men pay for virgins so they can be in control; adding, “Virginity auctions are outdated and antiquated”.
