He pasado mi vida en la ciudad, muchos autos y edificios altos, mi único escape de la misma ha sido a el Ávila y si bien es algo natural realmente sigue siendo parte de la ciudad al estar en medio de todo y tener vistas increíbles de Caracas por lo que se puede ver como una desconexión a medias; luego de crecer, estudiar y trabajar en un mundo tan agitado me surgió el deseo de irme lejos, a un sitio de desconexión total dónde no existiera el cable o la señal, a un lugar parecido a esos viñedos europeos dónde solo se escuchan las aves y se bebe vino durante el día o como esos pueblos en el medio de la nada dónde solo hay animalitos y vistas verdes, con el pasar de los días este deseo se volvió más y más fuerte por lo que comencé a investigar todas posibilidades podría tener yo para terminar en un lugar así cosa que me hizo llegar a la conclusión que quizá realmente era una utopía que no podría hacer realidad al menos en los próximos 40 años, sin importar esto comencé a desear más fuerte, a pedirle al universo con más intensidad y visualizar ese lugar en el que quería estar.
I have spent my life in the city, many cars and tall buildings, my only escape from it has been to the Avila and even though it is something natural it is still part of the city as it is in the middle of everything and has incredible views of Caracas so it can be seen as a halfway connection; After growing up, studying and working in such an agitated world, I wanted to go far away, to a place of total disconnection where there was no cable or signal, to a place similar to those European vineyards where you can only hear the birds and drink wine during the day or like those towns in the middle of nowhere where there are only little animals and green views, With the passing of the days this desire became stronger and stronger so I began to investigate all possibilities I could have to end up in such a place which made me reach the conclusion that maybe it really was a utopia that I could not realize at least in the next 40 years, regardless of this I began to wish harder, to ask the universe with more intensity and visualize that place where I wanted to be.
Está semana ha sido una de esas agitadas y protocolares en dónde toca visitar a toda la familia, parientes tanto cercanos como lejanos por lo que una de ellas fue visitar a uno de los hermanos de mi abuela quien ya por la edad no puede salir de casa a visitarnos a nosotros. Llegar fue una travesía ya que debimos movilizarnos por la mitad del estado (o provincia como lo llamen en su país), tomamos 3 camionetas y viajamos unas 4 horas para por fin llegar a su casa la cual es un lindo piso en una zona llamada El Encanto; estar allí fue recordar mi infancia, las risas con mis primos y una vista increíble de la ciudad, pasamos el rato conversando entre las cuales se delegó una muy especial "la nueva casa de mi prima".
This week has been one of those hectic and formal occasions when we have to visit the whole family, relatives both near and far, so one of them was to visit one of my grandmother's brothers who, due to his age, cannot leave the house to visit us. Arriving was a journey since we had to move through half of the state (or province for those who read from another country), we took 3 vans and traveled about 4 hours to finally arrive at his house which is a nice apartment in an area called El Encanto; being there was to remember my childhood, the laughter with my cousins and an incredible view of the city, we spent the time talking among which was delegated a very special "the new house of my cousin.
Mi prima o mejor dicho la prima de mi mamá es un ser especial, es una de esas primas mayores que se encargaba de engordarte y hacer cosas deliciosas cuando ibas de visita a su casa, su misión principal siempre fue la de unir a la familia en alguna fecha especial (labor bastante complicada ya que todos vivimos bastante alejados unos de otros y coordinar estar todos en el mismo día y lugar me imagino que ha de ser una travesía). Una de las conversaciones más importantes de ese día era la de su casa nueva, ella estaba increíblemente emocionada ya que por fin se había logrado mudar a una casa propia y que a pesar de que seguía en construcción la hacía muy feliz vivir en ese lugar, creo que todos al ver su emoción brincamos de alegría y nos animamos a dejar todo lo que estábamos haciendo en ese momento para ir a ver su nueva casa por lo que nos montamos en el carro y fuimos rumbo a conocer la nueva casa de mi prima.
My cousin or better said my mom's cousin is a special being, she is one of those older cousins who was in charge of fattening you up and making delicious things when you went to visit her house, her main mission was always to unite the family on some special date (quite a complicated task since we all live quite far away from each other and coordinate being all in the same day and place I imagine it must be a journey). One of the most important conversations of that day was about her new house, she was incredibly excited since she had finally managed to move into her own house and even though it was still under construction it made her very happy to live in that place. I think that when we saw her emotion we all jumped for joy and encouraged ourselves to leave everything we were doing at that moment to go see her new house so we got in the car and drove to my cousin's new house.
Fue aproximadamente media hora más de camino recorriendo subidas y bajadas entre las montañas, con paisajes dónde se veían solo las nubes y las montañas, dejamos atrás la ciudad, los autos y los ruidos hasta que al final llegamos y nos encontramos con lo que para mí sorpresa era mi visualización, eso que tenía al menos 2 años rondando en mi cabeza, eso que se me hacía imposible pensar que podría llegar a ver. No pueden imaginar todos los sentimientos que tuve al ver tanta belleza junta, sin dudas ese momento no paso por casualidad el universo, Dios y la vida se habían unido para darme una probadita de lo que yo más deseaba, ahora estoy segura de que lo lograre no importa cuánto tiempo pase para llegar a cumplir mi sueño de sentar cimientos en un lugar parecido lo importante es que lo visualice y lo viví, ahora solo queda trabajar mucho para volverlo material.
It was about half an hour more of road going up and down between the mountains, with landscapes where you could only see the clouds and the mountains, we left behind the city, the cars and the noises until finally we arrived and we found what for me was a surprise: my visualization, that which had at least 2 years in my head, that which was impossible for me to think that I would be able to see. You cannot imagine all the feelings I had when I saw so much beauty together, without a doubt that moment did not happen by chance the universe, God and life had joined to give me a taste of what I most desired, now I am sure that I will achieve it no matter how long it takes to get to fulfill my dream of laying the foundation in a similar place, the important thing is that I visualized it and lived it, now there is only a lot of work to make it material.
Todos somos una fuente infinita de energía, la cual podemos usar para cosas mundanas o cosas increíbles por esto debemos aprender a utilizarla y solo así podremos lograr eso que tanto anhela nuestro corazón.
