A few weeks ago we sent this small donation to our beloved Ligia, a 76 year old woman who has been battling a delicate state of health which leads her to have to maintain treatment for life to stay safe.
Ligia Chavez de Medina is a woman who suffers from a health problem in which her blood tends to clot, so daily she must take Biotalol whose active ingredient is bisoprolol. This medicine allows a better blood circulation and the decrease of the cardiac frequency as well as to take care of cases of hypertension.
Ligia was recently able to smile after having spent several days in a hospital motivated by a Cardiovascular ischemic stroke that she suffered and almost took her life.
As a project, we want to be able to help in all possible cases that are in our hands and Ligia needed early help.
This product is extremely expensive in our country, passing the 30,000 VES, equivalent to $4, which although it seems little money, in Venezuela that is equivalent to 85% of the basic monthly salary that a person earns in their work. We are grateful for all the support they give us, since with it we have been able to buy the medicine for Ligia.
She was given two boxes of Biotalol 5 mg. which will help her fight her disease for 2 months.

Hace unas semanas enviamos este pequeño donativo a nuestra querida Ligia, una mujer de 76 años quien ha estado combatiendo contra un delicado estado de salud lo cual la lleva a tener que mantener un tratamiento de por vida para mantenerse a salvo.
Ligia Chávez de Medina es una mujer que sufre de una problemática de salud en el cual su sangre tiende a coagularse, por lo cual diariamente debe tomar Biotalol cuyo principio activo es el bisoprolol. Este medicamento permite una mejor circulación sanguínea y la disminución de la frecuencia cardiaca así como atender en casos de hipertensión.
Ligia, recientemente pudo sonreír tras haber pasado varios días en un hospital motivado a un Ataque Cardio Vascular isquemico que sufrió y que casi le arrebata la vida.
Como proyecto, queremos poder ayudar ante todos los casos posibles que estén en nuestras manos y Ligia necesitaba una ayuda temprana.
Este producto es sumamente costoso en nuestro país, pasando los 30.000 VES, un equivalente a $4, que si bien parece poco dinero, en Venezuela eso equivale al 85% del salario base mensual que devenga una persona en su trabajo. Agradecemos todo el apoyo que nos brindan ya que con ello hemos podido comprar el medicamento para Ligia.
A ella se le hizo entrega de dos cajas de Biotalol de 5 mg. los cuales le ayudaran a combatir su enfermedad durante 2 meses más.
