There are many similarities between dinosaurs and birds, Velociraptor mongoliensis had nests of eggs, and probably behaved in similar ways. In September 2007 researchers found quill knobs on the forearm of a Velociraptor mongoliensis, and their presence on Velociraptor mongoliensis indicate it too had feathers.

Relative sizes

Velociraptors was a slender, lightly built carnivore. It was about 2 meters long, 0.62 meters tall at the hip and weight of approximately 25 kilos.

Actually, the real Velociraptor is much smaller than in the movie "Jurassic Park". But it was intelligent dinosaur. They may have been able to reach speeds of 39 kilometers an hour. Their retractable claws with a long 9 centimeter on each foot and a mouth full of sharp teeth it helps them to caught up to prey, and brought them down quickly.
