Ok let's talk more vacations

Previous post Here

Let's go!

Day 6
Beach and covid.
Back to Bordeira Beach. It was windy and thus cold sometimes but good enough for reading and napping now and then.

Back at the hotel we were informed that the restaurant were we went recently was now closed because some of the staff was infected. Ok, let's test.

Victory! No SARS-COV-2 inside my healthy (and these days very lazy) body

Day 7
Wonderful lunch.
The worst vacation day because it was too hot and we decided to go to a very famous and crowded beach. The beach is nice (Praia da Dona Ana, Lagos) but the experience was not. Hard to park the car, hard to not boil in the sun, people noisy at the beach. Well... I usually like it but I was in relax mode.

The lunch was super super super! Restaurant "Alma Lusa" is really cozy and the food is great. Look at this "Confited Codfish with Mashed Chickpeas, Poached Egg, Roasted Pork Sausage and Coriander"

Day 8
Sleep and back to Arrifana Beach.
We had a reservation in "Tasca D'Arrifana" for lunch. This time we were craving for the famous "Bean stew with octopus and sweet potatoes"

Yes I stole this photo from @liliana.duarte because the only photo I took from the entire day was a selfie eating another Bola de Berlim... 😳

I know I read a lot this day. The other hobbie I found was a cool game in my phone. Kind of an old-school-spaceship-shooting-a-bunch-of-enemies game.

Day 9
Good beach day (perhaps the best).
Bordeira Beach once again.
This time for a mega walk before it was too hot 🌞

In the evening we looked for a nice place for stargazing. It was a bit cold but we were able to watch some good shooting stars 🌟

Day 10
If we have to go back, why not go slowly and stop in good places?!
Time for more seafood at Azenha do Mar.

That's all for now! Vacations are nice but I gotta work!

Cheers,
