This is a snapshot of my Blockchain before Steemit.com
Before discovering Steemit.com
I hand no blogging experience at all or understand how it really works
I wanted to give it a try and i started studying about blogging
Looking around the Internet I found a video of @jerrybanfield where he was speaking about Steemit.com a great place to post and get Rewarded
And Thanks to Him! I registered.
Waited about 2 weeks to get the confirmation
But before that :
I was really looking to learn more about Cryptocurrencies
I have seen the potential of crypto and wanted to be part of it
I have started to make an account with coinbase and Poloniex
Transferred a small amount of bitcoin about 0.3Btc approximately
I am not A casino Person at all, I don't like to bet
I prefer it the harder and safer way
So I didn't play with margins 🤕
While some love it, I stay away from it!
I always take my time especially when dealing with money online
So I started slowly
I was trying my best to buy as many different coins as I could when the market was down, basically buy low sell high.
My strategy was to simple but somehow efficient
I was placing orders on quite a few coins up to different coins
Basically I was placing the order at another 10%-20% lower than the lowest point I believed the coins will go
And in this way only catch those few of them and sell them fast at another 10% higher the price
Trying to use mostly those with higher volume
However little I knew about it
But Bitcoin was only $750-$800 at the beginning of the year
I had so. Many coins at the time that today would have been worth tens of thousands of dollars
But Anyway
Still in that period of time I witnessed a great deal of loop
Basically on Hitbtc they started to offer to BTC holders Bitcoin Unlimited
If you keep 1 Bitcoin in Hitbtc Wallet you would have received 1 Bitcoin Unlimited
The exchange Hitbtc has disabled the Withdraws of Bitcoin and Decreased its value by 20%
Now for the altcoins available on the exchange they have increased the value up to 20% but you were able to withdraw the altcoins
So I would go and buy Steem as you can see in picture and sell it On Hitbtc at 20% increased price
Now At times the price for altcoins on markets would kind of reach the same price,, it was basically the right time to exit with another coin and to sell it on Poloniex
I made over 1 BTC Moving from one exchange to another
I was into playing crypto for about 2 months
However if I had kept the coins I would have bought back then today I would have had a huge amount of cash
I had Bitconnect when it was about $0.30-$0.40
Anyway you know all the coins were amazingly cheap at the beginning of the year 2017 when I was playing with it
Not really playing with it anymore
Anyway I had to focus a bit more on my personal life
And sold the bitcoin and cashed out I believe I made a good business
I have bought a boat some time ago and I have been investing most of my cash in refurbishing it
I had to remove everything it was inside and leave it as a bare shell to reconstruct everything from scratch
It took Me many days and night to get it done and liveable
Since I Live in London and I Don't have a house of mine because I only came here 10 years ago
I have been renting a flat and the rent is just unbelievable expensive here
I was paying up to $1000 a month for a small 1 bedroom flat
So I decided to find a cheaper option of living
I researched the Internet and found out about Narroboats
£1000 a Year for a licence to keep the boat in the water
I need. To cruise a bit every 2 weeks as I we are not allowed to stay more than 2 weeks in one place we have to have a pattern of 15 miles a year basically we have to move in one direction less then 1 mile every 2 weeks
I started to look for videos on YouTube and see how are those boaters living and honesty I liked it
I went around the Grand Union Canal looking for boats I really wanted to have a look inside I wanted to see if you can live inside one
I met a great couple and asked them a few questions about Boating they very kind and even invited me inside
I there saw they have all the conditions necessary for living more or less like inside a studio flat
So I decided to start looking for a boat to buy
Of course there are bigger boats too as big as a full 2 bedroom apartment but they are too expensive they can go up to £100.000 and that is not Cheap
Mine is smaller but is about 37 ft Long, I Made all the necessary conditions inside so I am OK

I now Have almost finished with everything inside the boat

Some things are still to be done but I made this boat look lovely and welcoming
I am pretty happy how it all played out

I have Joined steemit.com on 12June2017
And since then I have only got more and more Addicted to it
I have started posting and saw the response of the community that was overwhelming
I got it a bit wrong from the beginning about posting, commenting, Upvoting and Downvoting
But :
I have found great help from many users and finally I think I know how it all works
I now understand that the best way to succeed is by being useful to others
I now Understand that to make friends you have to connect with users on the platform and support their ideas and dreams
I now Understand that no one wants to upvote you if you post 10 times A day for exemple
The truth is that hard to make one good article in one day let alone 10 articles
So I am just working on a post at a time , even if it takes a whole day or more to study the subject and make and article out of it that I know it will be useful
I have told to Terry that I would like to make a post about steemgigs
And he kindly replied with links and video of the info I can find about Steemgigs
I have had one read about it throughout all the articles that Terry gave me and I realised that Steemgigs is one of the greatest projects intended to help everyone willing to participate
I am really happy I've been able to find @surpassinggoogle
I have had a long time dream and that was to learn computer programming
I always wanted to be able to create stuff on the Internet
I really want to to a graphic designer course too
I know it will take time but honestly I really want to get more creative and build stuff
When I put my mind to something I will get it done no matter what
I am a patient person and I like to learn, I like to make my own stuff and live my own way
For example to sell your services you need advertising
You can pay for advertising or you can make it yourself
I am a professional floorlayer
Myself I started paying for it at the beginning but realised I can do all that advertising myself
And started making all sorts of ads on all the free sites I found
Registered to all forums I found on the Internet about flooring and construction and left ads and messages
I started emailing all the companies I found on Google from London and surroundings
At one point I could see 4 full page on Google search with My ads! And I was on sharing my ads all over my socialising sites
And made my own designed leaflets too!
Nothing to complicated with today's technology.
So as I said if I want to do something I do it
So it's the same with computer programming and graphic designer
I will start going to take the courses soon by the end of the year
I can see there is great potential for computer skilled users on steemgigs and steemit.com
I have been using steemit almost every single day since I've been registered
What can I say, I am Addicted!
I am on a power up mission and I only want to grow with followers and friends
I am now Living the dream
My life has changed for the last 4 months Completely
I am pretty happy to use Steemit.com and to have the help and support of @surpassinggoogle's
Steemgigs is A place I can call home!
