These green leaves came from a small tree 12' tall or so. At first glance, I thought it was a young magnolia but on closer observance, I noticed the saw tooth serrated edge on the leaves. The tree is in filtered shade on a creek bank. I am the southeast in zone 7. I haven't identified them yet so if anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. Thanks.
