I guess that everyone is aware of the atrocious attack Putin has launched against Ukraine a few days ago (other authors have already written how unfair this is, especially for Ukrainian civilians better than I could).
Seeing this, I wanted to do something to help out. I have given a bit of money to humanitarian NGOs but would like to do more.
Like most people on Hive, I am quite into IT and wondered if there was anything we could do against propaganda and companies helping Putin's war. This is how I have found the "IT army of Ukraine". This is a Telegram channel (https://t.me/itarmyofukraine2022) that gives instructions about how you can help Ukraine using IT. Unfortunately, a lot of it is in Ukrainian although many posts are translated into English. There is also an English version: https://t.me/itarmyukraineenglish22 but it is much less active.
On these channels, I have found a very interesting Git repo regrouping all of the information gathered so far: https://github.com/danieldanielecki/IT-ARMY-of-Ukraine-Resources-in-English.
This contains a very easy way to help even for people with no IT knowledge at all that I think could be quite impactful if many people start doing it together that I am going to rewrite here.
