BJJ Training Journal - 10/15/21 - High Intensity Bag Workout

I decided not to lift yesterday.

I put all my energy into my bag and shadow boxing / shots workout.

I hit the bag at full speed trying to keep the volume of strikes up at a level higher than normal.

My goal was to try and control my mind to regulate the power to keep the strike count up. I had to make sure that I did not gas. I did this for as long as I could. It was intense.

I did the same thing for my shots. I shot over and over until I got to the point where I felt I was risking injury as my form was breaking down too much.

It was an awesome workout.
