Proceso de Elaboración | Elaboration process

Paso 1. Lo primero que hice fue elegir los tonos de tela que utilizaría para cada una de las piezas del nacimiento. Luego marqué cada pieza del diseño en la entretela y fusioné al tejido con la ayuda de una plancha.

Step 1. The first thing I did was choose the shades of fabric that I would use for each of the pieces of the nativity scene. Then I marked each piece of the design on the interfacing and fused to the fabric with the help of an iron.

Paso 2. Una vez fusionada cada pieza a la entretela, las recorté por todo su contorno. Es una ventaja utilizar la entretela, porque le aporta rigidez a la tela y esto facilita mucho el trabajo.

Step 2. Once each piece was fused to the interfacing, I trimmed them all the way around. It is an advantage to use interlining, because it gives the fabric rigidity and this makes the work much easier.

Paso 3. Seguidamente lo que hice fue armar cada pieza del nacimiento, utilicé la pega blanca para pegarlas entre sí.
