It was a monochrome day ... well, in my head at least ... but ...
... but when I entered the woods ...
... the colors not only returned ...
... but returned stronger than I remember them ...
... at moments ...
... it looked like the forest was in flame ... then a second later ...
... it looked like this ... almost normal ... but not for long ...
... the animals, of course, were also more colorful ...
... and were changing colors fast ... and constantly ... like chameleons on steroids, figuratively of course ...
... some appeared in their inverted versions ...
... they looked a bit like ghostly arthropods ...
... of all kinds.
The flowers looked mostly kind of normal ... colorful flowers are never a big news, they usually come in many colors ... although these Silene latifolia flowers are always white ... in normal circumstances.
This flower was white ... but the surroundings exploded in trippy colors.
The cyclamens were normal ... and the small area around them also looked surprisingly ordinary ... but cyclamens are so trippy in their usual incarnation ... that this little island of normality didn't look out of context here.
Some flowers were actually slightly less colorful than usual ...
... some leaves considerably more colorful than usual ...
... things were quite unpredictable ...
... unpredictably beautiful ...
... and surprisingly surprising ... full of unexpected surprisingness ...
... I saw tons of wonderful stuff ...
... but mushrooms ...
... were the real stars of this show ...
... I saw many strange shapes ...
... and colors ...
... here you can see only some of them ...
... I didn't photograph everything I saw ...
... there was just too much to photograph ... as I was exiting the woods ...
... the things turned monochrome again ... but just for a moment ...
... soon I was seeing the colors again ... but this time things looked very ordinary ... the sky was blue, the leaves were green ... and so on ...
As always in these ramblings on HIVE, the photographs and edits are my work - THE END.
