In this post I want to share some tree facts that I found by doing some searches on Google, along with these two beautiful photos I took recently. As you can see, I love touching trees, especially this one, my favorite tree in the whole world. It is an old cotton tree located in a public park in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Did you know?

šŸ”¹The oldest living tree with a verified age is in California. It is a Great Basin bristlecone pine (Pinus longaeva) growing in the White Mountains. It is estimated to be 5,075 years old. šŸ˜²

šŸ”¹The tallest tree on Earth is a coast redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) at Redwood National Park, California. It has been named Hyperion and is 115.85 meters tall. šŸ˜®

šŸ”¹The tallest known broad-leaved tree is a mountain ash (Eucalyptus regnans) growing in Tasmania with a height of 99.8 meters. šŸ˜®

šŸ”¹The largest tree by volume is a giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) known as the General Sherman Tree in the Sequoia National Park in Tulare County, California. Only the trunk is used in the calculation and the volume is estimated to be 1,487 cubic meters. šŸ˜²

Isnā€™t that amazing???
