Trees In The Snow

Happy Tuesday Everyone and greetings of the festive season!

#treetueday is inspired by @old-guy-photos.

In my neck of the woods, the first of December was greeted with lots of snow on the ground. It’s amazing how the trees and birds take the storm in stride and bounce back once the storm has cleared.

The pine tree in the back yard.

Yesterday the lower pine tree branches were stuck in the snow but today they emerged without any damage.

The two young spruce trees have an easier time as their branches do not hang as low as the pine.

The birches have lost their leaves and bend and sway in a snowstorm but bounce back to shape later.

What’s a tree without a bird? The beautiful Blue Jays don’t mind the snow and eagerly await some food on a cold morning.
