Seeing and discovering Japan was always on my agenda hearing about how colorful the country can be autumn i had to see for myself in autumn it's extremely colorful with all it's maple trees when all their leaves are changing color ready to full off.
On arrival to Japan our destination was to head to Nikko which is a small city in Japan’s Tochigi Prefecture, in the mountains north of Tokyo where is there is a lovely national park you can hike through with beautiful river running through the national park.
On the way to Nikko National Park we saw this very pinkish busy grass like never seen this before apparently very loved in Japan for it's beautiful coloring it's actually call Kochia also known as fireweed or burning bush very soft to grass or weed to play in and seems to grow all around Japan.
Anyway it was nice to see this Kochia grass we had our play around in it and it was time to move on into the Nikko National Park the park is know for it's lavishly nature. It use to be the sacred land of mountain worship, many people visit this national park for its distinctive mystical atmosphere.
Nikko we found to be a beautiful historic and peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo their is a lot to see in this national park like beautiful national forests, waterfalls, beautiful bridges to walk across and important World Heritage sites and natural hot springs but unfortunately we were limited for time and could not spend the time we really wanted but definitely was worth seeing this part of Japan.
