I have not done a #treetuesday in sometime now. This photo was taken this past fall on one of our wonderful walks. Winter has me really missing long walks in our state parks! Spring is just about a week away, if mother nature cooperates.
I'm very excited to announce that my daughter has bought her 1st house and it is pretty close to us. I can't share too many pictures of it but I do have a few that show the character of the home.
The first is this original door knob. I will admit, it no longer works and will probably be replaced, but I was thrilled to spot it when I was taking a tour of the house. I just adore antique things like this.
I also love that it has the old wood work in it yet, although it made me sad that someone had painted it white.
While the house has many of its older features, it also has a lot of upgrades. The kitchen & bathrooms look pretty modern.
I'm really happy for her and her boyfriend. It's a really cute starter home and I'm sure they will make some great memories there.
I've been busy on the Minecraft server, Intrinsic. We are all pretty close to each other base wise and I hope it encourages more collaborations.
And I have been playing and streaming some new games on Twitch. Fallout 76 and Conan.I have to say I am slightly addicted to Conan.
Hubby's already bad knee started swelling a few weeks back. The bottom photo is more what it usually looks like, you can see how swollen it got in the top one. He didn't let it heal right after surgery years back because he could not afford to take the proper time off work.
In the past he's refused going to physical therapy for it but having it drained via a needle this time changed his mind. He's been going two times per week and can already tell the knee is stronger than it has been in years.
That is pretty much what has been keeping me busy and holding my attention around here since my last post.
