"There have to be some out there somewhere. Deep in the wild, surely." Ask almost any Tasmanian and they'll tell you they wish the Tasmanian Tiger, or Thylacine, still lived. The last wild one was shot in 1933 in the far northwest of the state. Perhaps, lurking in the shadows, beyond the shadowy stripes of the ferns, shadowy stripes of another kind still stalk through the bush...
