National parliament building is the place where the lawmakers of a democratic country sit and make the laws to run the country properly.
Hello friends,
My today’s post in travelfeed is about national parliament building of Bangladesh where I visited few days back.
Bangladesh parliament building is a historical place after the bloody liberation war against Pakistan. This building is situated in centre of the city called Shar-E-Bangla Nagar.
The architect of this building is Louis Khan. You can find more information about this building from Wikipedia-
Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban or National Parliament House, (Bengali: জাতীয় সংসদ ভবন Jatiyô Sôngsôd Bhôbôn) is the house of the Parliament of Bangladesh, located at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka. Designed by architect Louis Kahn, the complex is one of the largest legislative complexes in the world, comprising 200 acres (800,000 m²)
This building is restricted for the common people to go inside. People can only see from outside. So, I captured some pictures from outside.
Besides the visit of parliament building, I also visited the adjacent Chondrima park. From there I observed the beautiful sunset.
Here you will find the site plan of the park. On of the great freedom fighter and the founder of Bangladesh Nationalist Party, Ziaur Rahman’s graveyard is also here.
During the visit of park I also captured some random pictures of nature. Sharing with you all. Hope you will enjoy.
Here all the pictures were captured using my iPhone 11 Pro Max mobile phone. Thanks for stopping by.
