welcome to the twenty-first part of our tour of the Island of Corsica.

willkommen zum einundzwanzigsten Teil unserer Rundreise über die Insel Korsika.
After our visit to the city of Ajaccio, we headed westwards to the Genoa Tower Tour de la Parlata.
Im Anschluss an unseren Besuch der Stadt Ajaccio sind wir weiter nach Westen zum Genuesenturm Tour de la Parlata gefahren.
After the tour of the tower, we returned to our apartment, using the coastal road to the west. We passed the beautiful beach La Plage D'Argent.
Nach der Besichtigung des Turms ging es zurück zu unserer Ferienwohnung, wobei wir die Küstenstraße im Westen benutzten. Dabei kamen wir am schönen Strand La Plage D'Argent vorbei.
The tower was built on a granite rock in the years 1550 to 1551.
Der Turm wurde auf einem Granitfelsen in den Jahren 1550 bis 1551 erbaut.
From the tower you have a very good view in all directions. Below a view nortwards along the coast.
Vom Turm aus hat man einen sehr guten Ausblick in alle Richtungen. Unten im Bild ein Blick entlang der Küste in nördlicher Richtung.
View from the tower down to the sea. Around the mountain, on which the tower stands, leads a footpath. You reach the mountain via a narrow path.
Blick vom Turm hinunter zum Meer. Um den Berg, auf dem der Turm steht, führt ein Fußweg. Auf den Berg gelangt man über einen schmalen Pfad.
Southwest of the entrance to the Golf of Ajaccio are the four islands Îles Sanguinaires.
Südwestlich vor der Einfahrt in den Golf von Ajaccio liegen die vier Inseln Îles Sanguinaires.
On the way back to Ajaccio we took a swim at one of the small but fine beaches.
Auf der Rückfahrt nach Ajaccio haben wir eine Badepause an einem der kleinen aber feinen Strände gemacht.

Ein Blick auf die Halbinsel bei La Castagna. An der Spitze der Halbinsel befinden sich ein paar schöne Villen.
On the way back we also passed a viewpoint from where you have a nice view of the beach Plage de Cupabia below our apartment in Serra di Ferro.
Auf der Rückfahrt kamen wir auch an einem Aussichtspunkt vorbei, von dem man einen schönen Blick auf den Strand Plage de Cupabia unterhalb von unserer Ferienwohnung in Serra di Ferro hat.
In the evening we could enjoy another beautiful sunset and recover from the long excursion to Ajaccio.
Am Abend konnten wir einen weiteren schönen Sonnenuntergang genießen und uns vom langen Ausflug nach Ajaccio erholen.
