A few years ago, during my brother’s trip to the USA, he had a good opportunity to visit a dam called “Hoover Dam” (or Boulder Dam) in Nevada. He told me with his exciting voice that this dam is very large and wonderful. It is one of the Seven Man-made Wonders.
And above all, the main reason that he chose to visit this dam is that it was once a scenery in one of his favorite movies, “The Transformers”.
(According to him, it’s very windy at the dam.)
Apart from his reasons, I would like to add that I love the surrounding nature. The color of the lake, named “Lake Mead", above the dam is also my favorite.
I think the beautiful scenery of the mountains and the gorgeous color of water make the dam look much more fascinating.
