Kwan Phayao is one of the large freshwater lakes in Thailand. It is the most beautiful tourist destination in Phayao province, in the North of Thailand.
“Kwan” is the Thai northern language which means “lake”.
The white letters in the center of the first photo are in the Thai northern language means "happy journey at Phayao".
The white letters on the ruined tree (or sculpture..) in the below photo are said "Kwan Phayao" in the Thai language.
Kwan Phayao has impressive view with natural beauty and magnificent mountains.
The atmosphere is really nice, especially in the evening. The sunset is very gorgeous, as you can see from the following photos:
