Beautiful Pae Kong Shrine and Magnificent Chinese building at Wat Sothonwararam Woravihan, Chachoengsao province, Thailand

Apart from the beauty of Wat Sothonwararam Woravihan which is a Thai temple, there are also magnificent Chinese building and a Chinese Shrine behind this temple, named Pae Kong Shrine.

Pae Kong Shrine is a magnificent shrine.

Before entering into the shrine, you will be impressed by the huge marvelous gate with awesome tiered roofs.

There are various sculptures of sacred animals; i.e. two elegant giant dragons and other beautiful animals in bright colors at the top of the roofs.

There are amazing sculptures of two growth Singhas and a little Singha sitting on both sides of the gate. They look awesome.

There is a large attractive joss-stick pot staying beside the gate.

The yellow sign below is the name Pae Kong Shrine in the red Thai letters.

The main building is enormous with magnificent architecture and splendid decorations.

Most of the decorations are red, which is believed to be the lucky color of Chinese people.

Standing in the area of the shrine, you will see the beautiful building of Wat Sothonwararam Woravihan in the background.

And standing on the bank of the Bang Pakong river, you will see the roofs of the Chinese building and the building of Wat Sothonwararam Woravihan in the far distance which is, in my own eyes, a picturesque photo.
