Grand Cayman Must See Work Of Art - Intricate Mosaic

If you ever make the trip to Grand Cayman Island, you will see that the natural beauty and the ocean life are breathtaking! If you find yourself wanting a little diversion, a beautiful place to spend an afternoon is the planned community of Camana Bay. There are upscale shops and restaurants and a splash pad park for the kiddos, but the crowning glory of the center is a 75 foot tall observation tower from which you can see the view for miles.

The tower is adorned by a magnificent mosaic created from over 3 million hand cut pieces of Venician glass and taking over eight months to install. It depicts the underwater world of the coral reefs with all of the sea creatures. Here is a link to their site for more info.

We were there in the afternoon, but it think that a sunset view from the top would be stunning!
