Wenn Sie durch das gigantische Amphitheater in Side (Türkei) gehen, werden Sie sich in die Zeit der römischen Antike zurückversetzt fühlen. Das Monument am Rande der Altstadt bietet Platz für ca. 15.000 Menschen. Zunächst wurden hier nur Theaterstücke aufgeführt, später fanden dort aber auch Kämpfe statt. Das Theater ist dank seiner einzigartigen Akustik Weltberühmt. Die Besonderheit daran ist, egal wo man steht im Theater, ob in der ersten oder letzten Reihe die Lautstärke ist identisch gleich. Dank dieser bis jetzt einmaligen Bauart ist das Theater Weltweit einzigartig. Bis vor kurzem wurde es oft für Theaterstücke sowie Musikkonzerte genutzt. Jedoch wurde dies vor kurzem untersagt. Grund dafür ist , dass aufgrund der Schalle Schäden festgestellt wurden. Das Amphitheater ist ein Besuch wert, sehr empfehlenswert!
