Characteristics of Cornerstones of Old Halls in Beopjoo-sa temple

There was an old building on the other side of the ground of the temple.
That was the hall for the Bodhisattva of the Medicine.
This building had been fired during the Japanese Invasion 1592 - 1597.
This building was also rebuilt after the destruction, but this hall didn’t seem to preserve its original appearance.

But it’s cornerstones made me focus on its history. Those buildings looked like to preserve its original cornerstones.
In this point, the hall for the Bodhisattva had the same cornerstones.
Both building had the common style of the cornerstones. Its style was very old. Those buildings showed clearly that these cornerstones were made in Shilla Dynasty, even though the buildings were rebuilt after the Japanese Invasion 1592 - 1599. They had used the old cornerstones which had been made in Shilla dynasty instead of new ones.

In this building I could find out the traces of Shilla dynasty.
Below are the cornerstones of the Hall for the Bodhisattva of the mercy.

The Hall for the Bodhisattva of the medicine looked humble comparing to that of the Bodhisattva of the medicine. But its cornerstones looked to show its more typical style of Shilla dynasty.!
