Sjennon sees Czechia - Trying out Czech Trdelník

And it was delicious!

Whenever you go to The Czech Republic, you really can't miss out on the roll-ey cake called a Trdelník.

When I was visiting Prague recently, we got the tip to try these funky Trdelnik cakes. Trde-what. Yes, exactly.

Trozkol, also called trdelník or trdlo is a kind of spit cake. It is made from rolled dough that is wrapped around a stick, then grilled and topped with sugar and walnut mix. - Wikipedia

Aaaand it's fucking delicious! It's super sweet, but definitely worth the try.

We ordered a Trdelník with vanilla ice cream and oooboiii. We also heard that the one with nutella would be delicious, but it was already massive with the two of us. We couldn't even finish it! And as a non-sweettooth, this was enough sugar high for the entire weekend.

Definitely a tip to eat these! On the interwebz I also found images of them being cut, which would be way more suitable for a nice coffee or tea snack rather than these cones made for giants.
