If you want to see an incredibly huge number of different varieties of tulips, roses, lilies, etc., you need to go to Amsterdam, or more precisely in the town of Lisse, which is 34 km from Amsterdam, in a place called Keukenhof- the royal park of flowers.

We spent almost the whole day here, we made a lot of photos and we had a very good rest. To show you more about Keukenhof, i decided to make few posts with a lot of flower pictures.

The total area of the park is 32 hectares and the length of trails that you can walk and enjoy flowers is 15 km.

On the territory of the park there are 3 huge greenhouses (I will write separately about it later) and a large mill.

The park is open only 2 months a year for the flowering period of flowers - from the end of March to the end of May.

This explains so many tourists who come to enjoy the beauty from all corners of the world. It is about 800 thousand people per season!

Each year, gardeners bring out new varieties of flowers and thus the park grows.

Here you can not only walk, make a photo, but also buy flower seedlings that you liked. I bought tulip bulbs for my grandmother and amarillis for myself.

We spent a very good time here, ate a delicious street food and got a lot of bright emotions.

Wait for the parade of tulips in the next post 😁

Best wishes,

Olga:)
