Lately we took a trip around Vienna, and as the weather was fine we decided to visit 'Prater', a public leisure and amusement ground since 1766. Of course we had to take a ride on the Ferris wheel, one of the city's landmarks. Built in 1897, it was one of the tallest of it's time with a height of around 65 meters.
It's a hot spot for tourists, and there's quite a waiting line, but gives a great overview on Vienna's skyline.
Here are a few shot's from the ride.

If you're around in summer give Prater a visit, and don't miss out the fabulous beer, and dishes at 'Schweizer Haus'.
Have a great and peaceful time everyone!
