Today I’m writing about flags. If you have been a regular on Steemit lately, chances are you already forgot that a flag used to be an object. Flags symbolize things. Outside Steemit people also used to fight a lot because of flags. They wanted their flag in a certain place and no other flags were allowed to be there.
According to Wikipedia,

A flag is a piece of fabric (most often rectangular or quadrilateral) with a distinctive design that is used as a symbol, as a signalling device, or as decoration.

There are many types of flags but the most famous is the National Flag. Every nation needs a symbol. In a changing world, new countries are formed and some disappear from time to time. Sometimes flags are slightly modified for other reasons.

TIL the oldest national flag belongs to Denmark and is in use since 1478.
