Bowl skating in Black and white

There is something satisfying about showing frosty Melbourne skating days with dark monochrome tones.

Winter in Melbourne can be a long cold, wet and miserable time for people that like to be out and active. So if its dry enough to skate and the wind isn't crazy it is possible to get some rolling done.

This shoot is in Ringwood, Victoria, Australia. There is a small skate park and the bowl in the pics.

Pic 1. Tweaked 270 over the hip. Its a slight spin to land going backwards but a really fun move.

Pic 2. Deep in thought, catching my breath. Pic is split with its self with the bowl part on the left instead of right.

Pic 3. Fakie alley oop unity. Riding up the ramp backwards and sliding with feet crossed.

Pic 4. Air over the hip. Inline skating is a movement based activity, it doesn't always have to be complicated flips and spins to be a lot of fun.

Pic 5. Alley oop unity grind through the bowl corner.

Pic 6. Sometimes the most fun you have skating is pumping fast through the bowl.

Pic 7. The mark of a true master is how efficient their drop-in is. Jump high to get in the ramp and land compressed ready for max speed.
