Inside of Wat Pathum Wanaram

Last November I had the pleasure of visiting Bangkok, Thailand for the fourth annual @steemfest extravaganza. After a day of conferences, we took a group trip to the Buddhist temple grounds of Wat Pathum Wanaram as seen in the photo above. We had the time to meditate in a meditation hall and walk through the epic temple buildings.

Wat Pathum Wanaram was located in the midst of commercial chaos. It's situated between two massive shopping malls, the Siam Paragon and CentralWorld, and it's across the street from Siam Square. But once you step inside, you instantly escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life around. The intricate decor of the temple gave off a different ambiance. It was peaceful and tranquil. Wat Pathum Wanaram is a great place to go to calm the mind.
