If you haven't heard about Instagram Stories yet, don't worry, you haven't missed much.
Instagram stories is basically a feature where you can share a short video of whatever you want for 24 hours to anyone who follows you.
You're now thinking "Wait, aren't you talking about Snapchat?" NOPE!
Instagram actually launched a "feature" that does exactly what snapchat does.

Snapchat is a bit pissed off about this because their main feature is now a side feature of Instagram. I read in a few places that snapchat is actually suing Instagram because of the new feature, but I don't know how that will go since they didn't use any of the snapchat code and it's slightly different. But I'm no lawyer and it could totally blow up in Instagrams face.
