Overall, the Iphone X isn't anything to be getting excited about. Sure, the face ID is cool, but is it really a drastic enough change to be getting a $1,300 phone that will be outdated by next year? Also if you do have an Iphone X already, be sure to protect that fragile "all glass" back with a case, because its not as durable as the front glass.
