Researchers at the University of Exeter have created glass blocks for building walls that convert light into electricity. The costs of such walls are lower compared to those of traditional glass blocks, because their price pays off in the form of electricity, and they provide better thermal insulation. Build Solar plans to produce glass blocks in different colors depending on customer demand.
