I’m giving up on people who care… people who care tend to care too much, generally because they always want to make sure you’re ok… not necessarily in a way that really matters, like if you are genuinely sad, suffering or depressed… but in that reassuring, soft kind of way, that wants you to be ok… because if you are, then you can help them be ok, by letting them know that you’re ok with they’re being ok.
I mean, who cares? It’s irrelevant to everything that’s going on - to your life and mine... and how does it help us deal with the difficulties that we each must face, and which follow from trying to survive and make sense of the double-edged LUNACY of living in 2021 America.
I’m giving up too on people who think “conspiracy theories” are dangerous…that somehow strange thought forms are worse than actual physical assaults that rain down on us everyday... or that “smart" people (people who actually know how to operate a brain) and who ask questions might actually believe the things that the media tells you they believe, which while you may, they do not.
Nobody cares about the stuff that you “care” about except you, ok? So, just do good works, treat EVERY person with respect and don’t let the garbage pile up.
We all have enough to worry about without worrying about all the people that think we have lost our way, and that if only we would get back to doing what we don’t want to do, then we’d be ok and they would be a little more ok.
I don’t care. I don’t care if you believe that "El Vaxo" is going to protect you from La Corona… anymore than I care if you believe that Jesus, Santa or the Easter Bunny love you. That’s nice, but I don’t care.
Frank Sinatra said it well… “Whatever gets you through the night.” Give people the freedom they deserve to be themselves and mind your own business, and don't support the global techno-fascist takeover! Tend your garden, breathe free and shine courageously.
In case you haven’t noticed, we are VERY quickly turning into a society so desperate for daily infusions of new illusions to paint over yesterday's illusions, that we are OK with tossing overboard anyone who isn’t all about giving you the fist-bump confirmation that they believeexactlyprettyclose to whatever it is you think you believe. Same goes double for me.
I love you all… but beyond that, I don’t care.
