Chicken Curry Recipe. Learn how to make chicken curry in the Instant Pot with this easy Instant Pot curry recipe. The recipe uses bone-in chicken and is adapted from an authentic family recipe. -Super easy and quick as well as tender chicken in a curry that goes excellent. it's my mom's recipe and I grew up eating this curry! This Instant Pot Pakistani and Indian chicken curry can be served with rice or naan.

Ingredients for Simple Chicken Curry:

  • Chicken- 1/2 kg
  • Onion, rough chopped- 2 medium
  • Ginger, crushed- 1 tsp
  • Garlic, crushed- 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes, roughly chopped- 2 medium
  • Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder- 1.5 tsp
  • Slat
    -Gram Masla Powder 1/2 tsp
    -Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp
    -Coriander Leaves
    -Cinnamon & Black Cardamom 1
  • Refined Oil- 4-5 tbsp

Preparation:

  • Clean & wash the chicken pieces and keep it to drain.
  • Roughly chop the onions, tomatoes and green chillies.
  • Peel and crush the ginger and garlic cloves.

Process:

  • In pressure Cooker add Chicken and All ingredients and half cup water.
  • Cook it for 5 mint
  • Now add oil and cook fro 5 mints
  • Now add water cook it for t mints.
  • Add the turmeric powder and mix & fry on medium heat for around 3 mins till tomatoes are soft.
  • Now add Gram Masala and Chicken Curry is Ready..
