Kim's Taste #25: Terraza Cafe - A Scenic Place to Unwind

title_image

Hello, tasteemers!

It's been a while since I wrote a review here and I have to admit that I missed the feeling. This will be my first post after HF21 (and 22) and I realized that the #newsteem has been circulating lately. I hope that this will be a start of something good for content creators.

I guess it has really been a long time because I even forget the rules that I adhere when writing a review. I guess I will just have it in a freestyle for now.

The cafe that will be the subject of this review as this week's choice is located in the highlands of Negros Island. It's expected that the ambiance will be astounding.

Let's start the review proper.

TERRAZA CAFE
Cafe • Eats • Scenic Views

Terraza Cafe is located in Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental. In this review, I think will focus more on the ambiance and the view more than any other aspects like food, price, and service.

I don't know why, but this is the only photo of the food that I was able to take. I remember that we ordered french fries and other stuff on the menu. The nachos was good and the servings were generous.

I think the cafe is family-owned so they don't have any employed staff around. The family does everything from taking the orders to serving the food. This is a good thing because the ingredients were generous and the taste feels like home.

Considering that the place is far up in the mountains, I thought that it would be a little bit pricey, but it's really not. It was very affordable. You don't have to spend too much just to have your fill.

More than everything else, I think the main selling point of the cafe is the scenic view. There are terraces on the other side of the mountain where rice and vegetables are planted. I never realized that there are other terraces in the Philippines aside from those located in Mountain Province.

The cafe is also a good place to marvel Malatan-og Falls from afar. The majestic falls is one of the tourist attractions of Don Salvador.

Terraza Cafe is just along the highway of Don Salvador so you don't have to worry about its location. You can ride a bus from San Carlos City or Bacolod City just ask the driver to drop you off the cafe.

Overall, I highly recommend that you visit the cafe when you happen to be near the area. Besides, the whole town of Don Salvador is an attraction in itself so there are a lot or things to see.

I guess that's all for my review. Please don't hesitate to comment anything that you want to express! Also, thank you in advance for showing some love by upvoting this post!

Note: All photos are mine unless otherwise stated.

See you in my next review!

Best Regards,
Kim
