Trump Plans 25% Tariff On Up To $200BN In Foreign Cars As Advisors Helpless To Stop Him

President Trump is not done with his tariffs.

Ahead of his meeting with Jean-Claud Juncker, Trump stated that he is considering taxing up to $200B worth of foreign car imported into the U.S. This will come through a 25% tariff on all cars made outside the United States.

The EU already charges 10% on American automobiles while the U.S. has a 2.5% rate. This is something the President is seeking to correct.

It is also something that goes contrary to what his own advisors are suggesting. The tariff situation is isolating Trump from members of his own party and his inner circle.
