Pasar el rato en la parcela familiar ahora que es verano en el hemisferio norte puede no ser del todo fácil, más que nada por el calor sofocante que hace en mi tierra. Llevamos unos dos meses moviéndonos entre los 35 y 42 grados de temperatura. No es fácil pero se hace, hay que cuidar las plantitas y los árboles. Necesitan atención y agua ahora más que nunca, pues no llueve ni de casualidad. Hace unas pocas tardes en esas estaba cuando encontré un bonito saltamontes posado en uno de los girasoles que os enseñé hace unos días... Ahora en casa, al fresco de los ventiladores, le he preparado este haiku que puede ser comparativa de un estilo de vida tranquilo hacia el que trato de dirigirme también a mí mismo:
Bicho de campo
Descansando entre flores
Pasas las tardes
Hanging out on the family plot now that it' s summer in the northern hemisphere may not be all that easy, mostly because of the sweltering heat where I come from. For the last two months we have been moving between 35 and 42 Celsius degrees. It's not easy but it's done, you have to look after the plants and trees. They need attention and water now more than ever, as it doesn't rain by any chance. A few afternoons ago I was in this situation when I found a beautiful grasshopper perched on one of the sunflowers I showed you a few days ago.... Now at home, in the cool of the fans, I have prepared this haiku for it, which may be a comparison of a quiet lifestyle towards which I try to direct myself as well:
Country bug
You spend your afternoons
Resting among flowers
