Estas últimas semanas han sido geniales, no lo puedo negar. Agosto terminó muy bien y septiembre empezó de la mejor manera!! Es que sii, estas últimas semanas he visitado mi sitio feliz, la playita, y mejor aún, lo he hecho junto a mi familia, disfrutando de su compañía y guardando recuerdos.
El pasado fin de semana nuevamente fuimos. Fue el día domingo, el particular día de descanso, y el día en el que sinceramente, al menos a mi, me provoca ir a la playa tan sólo a soltar un poco y relajarnos.
Mi tía nos buscó al medio día para tomar camino a la playa, llegamos a nuestro destino a eso de la 1 de la tarde. E inmediatamente cada uno empezó en sus labores para el almuerzo. El almuerzo fue el tipico playero nuevamente: pescado frito, arepa, plátano frito, ensalada.
En esta ocasión no me bañé en la playa, pero lo que sí hice fue admirarla. Estaba hermosa, llana, no había casi brisa, así que se mantenía en calma. Parecía un espejo.
These last few weeks have been great, I can't deny it. August ended very well and September has started in the best way! Yes, these last few weeks I have been visiting my happy place, the beach, and even better, I have done it with my family, enjoying their company and making memories.
Last weekend we went again. It was Sunday, the particular day of rest, and the day that honestly, at least for me, I feel like going to the beach just to let loose and relax.
My aunt picked us up at noon to go to the beach, we arrived at our destination at about 1 pm. We arrived at our destination around 1:00 pm and immediately everyone started working on lunch. Lunch was the typical beach lunch again: fried fish, arepa, fried plantain, salad.
This time I did not swim in the beach, but what I did do was to admire it. It was beautiful, flat, there was almost no breeze, so it was calm. It looked like a mirror.
No duramos mucho tiempo en la casa de playa, pues decidimos ir al río.
Para ir al río, debíamos ir en carro, era un poco más adelante que la playa y quedaba al otro extremo de la carretera.
La mayoría de las personas se dirigían al río caminando, era un camino largo y un poco angosto. Nosotros decidimos pasar a la zona del río en carro. Pasamos y avanzamos. Habían varias posas en las que se encontraban personas bañándose. Nosotros avanzamos un poco mas, y cada vez nos adentrábamos más a la zona llena de árboles, caminos, y encrucijadas que nos llevaban al río.
We did not stay long at the beach house, because we decided to go to the river.
To go to the river, we had to go by car, it was a little further than the beach and was at the other end of the road.
Most of the people went to the river walking, it was a long and narrow road. We decided to go to the river area by car. We passed and moved on. There were several posadas where people were bathing. We advanced a little more, and each time we went deeper into the area full of trees, paths, and crossroads that led us to the river.
Al fin hicimos una parada, pero para nuestra sorpresa el río no estaba tan cristalino como antes, estaba un poco charcoso, seguramente por la cantidad de lluvia que ha habido últimamente.
No me bañé completamente pero si sumergí mis pues, y les aseguro que el agua estaba bastante fría!!
Compartimos un rato rodeados de ese verdor de la naturaleza y luego empezamos nuestro camino de vuelta a la ciudad
Finally we made a stop, but to our surprise the river was not as crystal clear as before, it was a little puddled, probably because of the amount of rain that has been lately.
I didn't take a complete bath but I did submerge my legs, and I assure you that the water was quite cold!
We shared a while surrounded by the greenery of nature and then we started our way back to the city.
