Ahorita esta en temporada y no quise perder la oportunidad de mostrarles lo hermosa que son, como siempre la naturaleza mostrando lo hermoso que nos puede dar y sus ricos frutos!

✨La Acerola(Malpighia emarginata)
Su nombre científico es Malpighia emarginata, en realidad es de mis frutos favoritos, en Venezuela sobre todo en los llanos Centrales lo llaman comúnmente semeruco, sin embargo hay personas que la confunden o le dicen cereza por su parecido físico a esta.

✨ Acerola (Malpighia emarginata)
Its scientific name is Malpighia emarginata, it is actually one of my favorite fruits, in Venezuela especially in the Central plains they usually call it semeruco, however there are people who confuse it or call it cherry because of its physical resemblance to it.
🌟 Está planta y su fruta son originarias de México en especial del Sur de México, pero también es muy dada en América Central y Sudamérica!
🌟También es importante resaltar que el nombre de esta fruta varía de acuerdo a la región o al país donde se cultiva, muchos de sus nombres son :cereza de Barbados, cereza de las Antillas, cereza colorada, cerecita, manzanita, manche o semeruco.
🌟 This plant and its fruit are native to Mexico, especially southern Mexico, but it is also very common in Central and South America!
🌟It is also important to note that the name of this fruit varies according to the region or country where it is grown, many of its names are: Barbados cherry, Antillean cherry, red cherry, cherry, manzanita, manche or semeruco.
🌟 Algunas personas la confunden ya que su parecido a la cereza Europa es bastante marcado, pero lo que las diferencia de ésta, es que estas contienen dos o tres semillas.
✨ Estas plantas y sus frutos se cultivan en climas tropicales y subtropicales.
✨La verdad son unas frutas ricas, aparte poseen un color rojo vivo, son hermoss y delicadas. Llegan a medir de 1 a 2,5 cm, el diámetro de 1 a 4 cm y el peso de 2 a 15 g.
🌟 De principio las frutas son de color verde, luego se ponen de color amarillo suave hasta que alcanzan un color rojo vivo.
🌟 Son jugosas, a veces pueden ser un poco ácidas, pero lo mas importante de gran valor para el consumidor es que estas frutas son una fuente importante de vitamina C, además posee potasio, hierro y vitaminas del grupo B.
