Hello dear friends of hive, today I want to tell you about my experience in my first Orchestral Conducting course.
Fue una experiencia única, donde se me abrieron las puertas grandemente, y no los voy a negar que estaba muy nervioso por qué también era mi primera experiencia con una orquesta profesional pero aproveche la oportunidad y di todo de mi.
It was a unique experience, where doors were opened to me greatly, and I will not deny that I was very nervous because it was also my first experience with a professional orchestra but I took the opportunity and gave everything I had.
El curso se realizó en la ciudad de Caracas Venezuela, bajo la tutela del maestro holandés Dick Van Gasteren, habían al rededor de 20 directores de todo el país y todos tuvimos la oportunidad de pasar con la orquesta.
The course was held in the city of Caracas Venezuela, under the tutelage of the Dutch maestro Dick Van Gasteren, there were about 20 conductors from all over the country and we all had the opportunity to spend time with the orchestra.
Estábamos trabajando obras de grandes compositores como Beethoven, Tchaikovsky y Strauss, con gran exigencia técnica y musical.
We were working on works by great composers such as Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Strauss, with great technical and musical demands.
Al momento de mi pase al podium estaba muy nervioso, pero la orquesta y el maestro tenían una vibra genial, y esa tensión que tenía fue desapareciendo. Pasé con el segundo movimiento de la 1ra sinfonía de Beethoven, un movimiento hermoso, lleno de matices y colores que llenan el alma.
I was very nervous when I went to the podium, but the orchestra and the maestro had a great vibe, and that tension disappeared. I passed with the second movement of Beethoven's 1st symphony, a beautiful movement, full of nuances and colors that fill the soul.
