Los colores de los insectos pueden llegar a ser fascinantes, y este no escapa de ello. Su color rojinegro lo hace resaltar del sustrato. Fue colectado en la orilla de una alberca, y se observan claramente sus tres tagma, lo que lo integra dentro de la Clase Insecta.
The colors of insects can be fascinating, and this one is no exception. Its reddish-black color makes it stand out from the substrate. It was collected at the edge of a pool, and its three tagma are clearly observed, which integrates it into the insecta class.
Destaca dentro de la observación, su escutelo, que es mucho más grande que otros insectos. Esto lo hace estar dentro de la familia Scutelleridae. Cuando quise identificarlo con Google Lens, lo confundía con un coleóptero, esto gracias a las manchas negras que se observan en su exoesqueleto. Ha sido fascinante hacer las macrofotografías con mis lentillas y mi dispositivo móvil Huawei P20 en modo profesional.
Its scutellum, which is much larger than other insects, stands out in the observation. This makes it belong to the Scutelleridae family. When I wanted to identify it with Google Lens, I mistook it for a coleopteran, thanks to the black spots on its exoskeleton. It has been fascinating to take the macro-photographs with my contact lenses and my Huawei P20 mobile device in professional mode.
Tal como se observa en las imágenes su cabeza es triangular, y sus antenas largas se estructuran entre 3 y 5 segmentos. En su parte dorsal se observa parte de sus piezas bucales segmentadas, incluso bastante larga, lo que los hace chupadores o succionadores.
As seen in the images, its head is triangular, and its long antennae are structured between 3 and 5 segments. On their dorsal part we can observe part of their segmented mouthparts, even quite long, which makes them suckers or suckers.
En la fotografía se puede determinar su aproximado tamaño. Este, no llegan a alcanzar grandes dimensiones. Este ejemplar se diferencia de los cocos hediondos, por su escudo, que es bastante agrandado a diferencia del otro, y que llega a cubrir su abdomen y las alas.
In the photograph you can determine their approximate size. They do not reach large dimensions. This specimen differs from the stinking coconuts, by its shield, which is quite enlarged unlike the other, and that comes to cover its abdomen and wings.
La clasificación lograda fue hasta Familia, pues lamentablemente sus patrones de manchas no coincidieron con los encontrados. Solicité incluso la ayuda de mi compañero y amigo @abneagro y no fue posible en esta oportunidad llegar a categorías más específicas.
The classification achieved was even Family, as unfortunately its spotting patterns did not match those found. I even requested the help of my colleague and friend @abneagro and it was not possible this time to arrive at more specific categories.
A nivel de la cabeza pudieron observarse su par de ojos compuestos, y ocelo incluso, en la región frontal. Es un ejemplar muy inquieto lo que dificultó capturar mejores detalles con las lentillas micro. En la región ventral su coloración rojiza destaca con ocho pequeñas manchas negras a nivel lateral, y una grande, a nivel posterior.
At the level of the head, its pair of compound eyes and ocellus could be observed in the frontal region. It is a very restless specimen which made it difficult to capture better details with micro lenses. In the ventral region its reddish coloration stands out with eight small black spots laterally and one large one posteriorly.
Luego de tanta busqueda, mi compañero @abneagro consigue un aptrón parecido en un Scutelleridae, de color amarillo, en la Página Web Biodiversidad Virtual de la Autora Ana Jaramillo, pero de igual amnera, sólo se identifica hasta Familia.
After so much searching, my colleague @abneagro gets a similar aptron in a Scutelleridae, yellow in color, in the Virtual Biodiversity Web Page of the Author Ana Jaramillo, but in the same way, it is only identified up to Family.
