Hive Philippines Street Photography #314 - by Allmonitors

#314 - A pleasant morning to you my fellow Hiveans. Typhoon Kiko has entered our country yesterday and here in the Metro the typhoon presence is felt by consistent rains but the story is far worse up north where the eye of the storm passes.

Residents near the coastal area did preemptive evacuations already prior to the typhoon arrival because they do not want to experience the same onslaught as the previous strong typhoon did to their community.

Let us now move on to our feature photos of today's monochrome shots. This one shows a couple walking together and they seem to have a conversation. They both wear facemasks as protection. There are also tricycle drivers not far in the background, these men rely on this kind of living by moving people to from here to their homes. Earnings in this kind of job is also decent as long as they are industrious.

A rider wearing his helmet suddenly passed by as I was taking photo of the father and son in the other side of the road. The kid holds to his father's left arm as a sign of security. They seem to have went to the market for their daily needs.

A woman stepping on the gutter after she just passed by the pedestrian 🚸 lane where those vehicles in the background are converging. She is wearing a sock too with her slippers. Her mask is not worn properly exposing her nose to the elements.

A pre pandemic shot where two young girls probably in high school walk under the cover of the building away from the sun's rays of light and heat. People's faces can still be seen back then but not anymore.🥺
