Schreib dein Leben, deine Ziele, dein Geschäft neu – Story Up Your Life, Your Goals, Your Business [de/en]

Was hilft mir aber persönlich dabei, meine Ziele umzusetzen?

Will ich NICHT ENDLICH MEINE GESCHICHTE NEU SCHREIBEN? Was ist mein Weg?

WAS möchte ich weitergeben?

Denn “The most powerful person in the world is the storyteller. The storyteller sets the vision, values, and agenda of an entire generation that is to come.” (Steve Jobs)

Also worauf wartest du noch? Wann schreibst du deine Geschichte neu? Wann und wie schreibst du deine Geschichte? 😉😎

What do business storytelling and losing 80 kg have in common?

As entrepreneurs, we are constantly pushing ourselves to our limits. We plan, risk and jump further and further out of our comfort zone into our learning and growth zone.

But what helps me personally to realize my goals?
👉Sports, exercise, a proactive mindset, and mental storytelling.

Movement moves, the thoughts, the inner energy, the transfer of this to the external world. Sport is one of my most important routines and inevitable for a holistic life.

In my early 20s, I still weighed a proud 148 kg!!! I had eaten into a protective wall. I was miserable, stuck in my comfort zone and not moving anything.

At some point, I couldn't do it anymore. I was in my burnout, living in the darkness of my depression, and years later I tried to take my life because I was still burdened by the trauma of sexual abuse.

I had to ask myself the question: Do I want to continue like this, or finally create MY LIFE for myself? Do I really want to give a damn about my HEALTH? Do I NOT want to FINALLY WRITE MY STORY AGAIN? Or do I want to give up now and just dream about how it couldn't have been? WHO do I want to be at the end of my life, how do I want to feel? What is my path?

From one day to the next I decided: NOW OR NEVER! DO IT MIKE.

I changed my diet, started weight training, and at some point I started running. Finished university, went through mental trainer training, looked for NEW GOALS and challenges and made one step after the other. Today I am a trail/marathon runner, a sportsman to the power of 10 and a story creator and emotion surfer.

What do business storytelling and losing 80 kg have in common?

I get to find my why. Know what I want to change and what I can contribute to it (added value, inspiration, etc.)? What story do I want to tell, to whom, how and where. Because: stories create feelings, these images, these trust and form the basis for trust and relationships.

Today I know, my mental and physical health are the basis for MY story. I write it every day, because every day offers the chance to start new chapters. Also as an entrepreneur. The important thing is: WHERE do I want to go? WHAT do I want to share? HOW do I want to share and live this story, especially with my employees?

Storytelling is more than a technique. For me, it's a mental, physical and entrepreneurial practice that allows you to build relationships, add value and inspire.
Because "The most powerful person in the world is the storyteller. The storyteller sets the vision, values, and agenda of an entire generation that is to come." (Steve Jobs)

So what are you waiting for? When are you going to rewrite your story? When and how will you write your story? 😉😎
