Recently, there was a news release that it been discovered that in a department of a government parasternal in a country, several people who had resigned their appointment in that department were still earning their salaries. How often have we read that some dead and ghost officers are made to continue to receive their pay, and that the gratitude had been received by unknown hands. All this I called it fraud.
Fraud as a means of archiving wealth and property is the bane of our society today. It has become a way of life for many people in our contemporary society. A life of fraud makes a mockery of the Biblical injunction that “In a sweat of your face shall thou eat bread” A man of fraud pursues a philosophy of life which required the last possible effort for the greatest amount of gain.
The greatest enemy of fraud is honesty or integrity in one’s employment or pursuit in life. Fraud will not thrive where there is honesty, for honesty renders fraud powerless and also renders its goal unachievable.
The man who pursues fraud as a goal in life will regard no sacrifice to be too great to help him archive his objective. He expose himself to physical injury, or the possibility of imprisonment, or execution on the gallows, or execution by the firing squad if only the goal can be archived. He also readily and willing to sacrifice the good name of his family in order that his goal can be archived.
As far he concerned, silver, gold, and dollars are worth more to him than a name that carries honour. If possible, he believes that his life or his freedom should be sacrificed in his pursuit of fraudulent activities. fraudulent act of a top rank officer in the goverment parastatal can causes death, hungry, starving and deny of good heath upon the less privileged who the money are meant to; clothing provide shelter and sound medical care for them.
A man of fraud take no thought about tomorrow and the consequences of his action, he takes thought of today only.
Subject Matter: Those properties you acquired with fraudulent, that resources that meant to be disbursed to less privilege that was been diverted elsewhere because you the one in charge, can you boldly say that you will enjoy those properties?
Stop divert the treasure that was meant for public to your personal pocket, remember no one can boldly say I know what will happen in some minutes now.
