Koh Tau Island or often referred to as Turtle Island has a beautiful beach named Sairee located on the west side of the island.
Because of the beauty of the ocean, Koh Tau Island is also famous for scuba diving so this place has always been the destination of thousands of tourists backpacker.
Unfortunately, the beauty of this island is not comparable to the horrors presented by this island.
The reason, Ellise's death is just one of seven cases of mysterious deaths that occurred in foreign tourists in the last 4 years on the island of Koh Tau.
Just like the case of Ellise, the deaths of these tourists are also loaded with awkwardness and strangeness.

the victims
The police seem to hide the truth when it says that Ellise's death is suicide.
That is not the first, in 2014, the police also seemed to cover up the death of two British tourists, namely Hannah Witheridge and David Miller from England.

Both lovers were found in a half-naked condition and both died in such pathetic conditions as being beaten to death.
There are even signs of rape on Hannah.
The police on Koh Tau Island quickly arrested foreign workers from Myanmar on the case.
However, they deny having committed murder and only confessed after being tortured by the police.
Until now the case is still incomplete, although both Burmese are sentenced to death.

The next mysterious case occurred in the year 2016 on a Russian tourist named Valentina Novozhyonova.
He disappeared from the hostel where he was staying and until now has not been found.
Police said Valentina had left the island, although all her passports and mobile phones were still in the hostel.

Again there is a case that happened to a British tourist named Christina Annesley who died in 2015.
An official report from the police said he committed suicide by taking antibiotics and alcohol.
However, his parents accused the police of covering up the case.
According to witnesses and CCTV videos showing a person following him several hours before he was found dead.
The police did not follow up on these findings.

Then there was Luke Miller who was found dead floating in a swimming pool at Sairee Beach.
It is not clear why he died, because the police just said he was drowning.
Yet according to the family, Luke is a reliable swimmer and there is no autopsy report related to his death because his body was immediately cremated.

Another British tourist, Nick Pearson was found dead floating in the sea in 2014 new year.
Both his parents were convinced he was murdered, although police said Nick was drowned after falling from a height of 50 feet.
But why he could fall from the height is not mentioned, so the speculation arose, he was thrown into the sea.
The last case of a French tourist named Dimitri Povse found hanging in the new year 2015.
Police said Dimitri died of suicide, although when found Dimitri in the condition of his hands tied back.

conspiracy theory
So, what kills tourists on this island of Koh Tau?
Why the police seem to cover up these cases?
If, according to an interview on the island's local residents, long before the authorities went to Koh Tau, this island has been dominated by a wealthy family that has been hereditary until now.

Theory is growing, this family forces the authorities to cover up all the murders committed by them.
Even like the story in a Hollywood movie, this family is said to have a habit of 'hunting' done every turn of the year and targeting people with the same criteria.
Namely a tourist backpacker, aged 20-30 years, and are on the island of Koh Tau.
As a result of Ellise's case, the UK issued a travel warning to its citizens to go to Thailand.
