If 2048 characters feels like a limitation to you on your photography posting, why not just post on one of the aforementioned other Steem platforms? That is an honest question, I have always been a little curious about Steepshot but have not actually looked into it enough to say what it offers that I can't get out of just posting on Steemit.com (which, crappy as the UI/UX is, still allows me to format my posts more or less how I want them with some frankenstein mismash of markdown and html/css).
